Dans le cadre du cycle d’événements Queer 24, l’Institut français de Prague, le Goethe-Institut et l’Université Charles organisent une table ronde sur l’expérience LGBTQ+ dans le milieu universitaire, « Breaking Barriers in Academia », le 18 avril prochain au Kampus Hybernska.
Soutenu par le Fonds culturel franco-allemand, l’événement réunira des intervenants français, allemands et tchèques qui évoqueront les difficultés rencontrées par les étudiants et les chercheurs de la communauté LGBTQ+ et les bonnes pratiques existantes (réglementaires, sociales, administratives...).
Seront parmi nous à cette occasion :
- Léovanie Das, chargée de mission lutte contre la haine anti-LGBT à la DILCRAH (Délégation Interministérielle à la lutte contre le racisme, l'antisémitisme et la haine anti-LGBT).
- Michal Mikeska, président de Spolek Charlie, l’association étudiante LGBTQ+ de l’Université Charles.
- Michal Pitoňák, à la tête du département dédié à la santé mentale des personnes LGBTQ+ à l’Institut national tchèque de la santé mentale.
- Eileen Schwanold, Chargée Diversité et représentante du network LGBTQIA+ « Science and Beλond » de l’Université de Hambourg.
L’échange sera modéré par le photographe, journaliste et activiste tchèque Lukáš Houdek.
Des courts-métrages seront projetés à la suite de l’échange pour illustrer l’expérience LGBTQ+ dans chacun des trois pays.

As part of the Queer 24 cycle of events, the French Institute of Prague, the Goethe-Institut and Charles University are organizing a roundtable on the LGBTQ+ experience in the academic sector, "Breaking Barriers in Academia", on April 18 at Kampus Hybernská.
Supported by the Franco-German Cultural Fund, the event will bring together French, German and Czech speakers to discuss the difficulties encountered by students and researchers from the LGBTQ+ community, and existing good practices (regulatory, social, administrative...).
Among the participants, there will be:
- Léovanie Das, in charge of the fight against anti-LGBT hatred at the DILCRAH (French Interministerial Delegation to Combat Racism, Anti-Semitism and Anti-LGBT Hatred).
- Michal Mikeska, president of Spolek Charlie, Charles University’s LGBTQ+ student association.
- Michal Pitoňák, head of the department dedicated to the mental health of LGBTQ+ people at the Czech National Institute of Mental Health.
- Eileen Schwanold, Diversity Officer and representative of the LGBTQIA+ network "Science and Beλond" at the University of Hamburg.
The discussion will be moderated by Czech photographer, journalist and activist Lukáš Houdek.
After the panel, short films will be screened to depict the LGBTQ+ experience looks like in each of the three countries.
