Le célèbre duo de réalisateurs Beka & Lemoine vous emmène dans un road movie époustouflant à travers Bangkok, explorant leur environnement et le travail qui en découle avec l'architecte Boonsermo Premthada. Premthada est l'un des architectes thaïlandais les plus acclamés aujourd'hui. La grave déficience auditive dont il souffre depuis l'enfance a largement façonné son approche unique de l'architecture. Comme les éléphants, il utilise donc d'autres parties du corps pour percevoir les vibrations sonores.
The famous filmmaking duo Bêka & Lemoine embark on a one-day journey through Bangkok with Boonserm Premthada, one of Thailand's most acclaimed architects of today. This unusual cinematic portrait gradually discovers the slum in which the architect grew up, as well as his own realizations influenced by this environment. Premthada's severe hearing impairment, which he has suffered from since childhood, has also largely shaped his unique approach to architecture. Like elephants, he, therefore, engages other parts of the body to perceive sound vibrations. Human and animal visitors alike thus come to know these particular buildings through other senses.

Architecture on the Edge: Nishizawa House

Designed by the prestigious Pritzker Prize winner Ryu Nishizawa, the house on the Chilean coast is part of a large-scale Eight-Cubed project bringing together world-renowned Chilean and Japanese architects. It was a challenge for both the architect and the developer. While one had to deal with the delicate setting in an inhospitable landscape, the other had to sell the expensive project to its future users without the possibility of changing it in any way. In the end, Nishizawa created a unique structure with an undulating concrete roof and glass walls
Le Festival international Film et l'Architecture aura lieu à la charnière des mois de septembre et d'octobre, organisé par KRUH. Du 29 septembre au 4 octobre 2023, trente courts et longs métrages sur l'architecture, l'urbanisme et le design seront projetés à Prague, Brno et dans d'autres villes de la République tchèque et de la Slovaquie, enrichis de débats avec les réalisateurs et de conférences. La section principale intitulée Construction proposera aux spectateurs des bâtiments fascinants et la forme des villes, des maisons et des modes de vie qui sont façonnés par des constructions sociales et idéologiques.
