Přestože pandemie způsobila škody celosvětové společnosti, některé kategorie byly postiženy více než jiné. Zvláště ženy byly vystaveny tlakům z více stran, ať již po stránce ekonomické, rodinné či zdravotní. Pandemie také zvětšila nerovnost mezi pohlavími a anulovala tím pokrok učiněný v této otázce v posledních letech.
Toto téma proberou a prohloubí ve společné online diskuzi: Kateřina Haring, prezidentka Českomoravské asociace podnikatelek a manažerek ČMAPM); Sandra Laugier, filozofka přednášející na pařížské univerzitě Panthéon-Sorbonne; Massimiliano Mascherini, dočasný ředitel oddělení Social Policies Eurofoundu (Evropské nadace pro zlepšování životních a pracovních podmínek). Alžběta Králová
Působí jako Managing Partner IPM Consulting, politická konzultantka, PR manažerka a zakladatelka Institutu politického marketingu (IPM). Zkušenosti sbírala v zahraničí, především ve Spojených státech amerických. V roce 2017 byla součástí užšího volebního týmu Emmanuela Macrona v prezidentských volbách. Je také zakladatelkou a ředitelkou akademie Ženský byznys.
Sandra Laugier
Sandra Laugier je francouzská filozofka, která se zabývá filozofií morálky, politiky a jazyka, genderovými studiemi a lidovou kulturou. V současné době je profesorkou filozofie na pařížské univerzitě Panthéon-Sorbonne a vedoucím členem Institut Universitaire de France. Mimo to píše sloupky pro francouzský deník Libération.
Massimiliano Mascherini
Massimiliano Mascherini vedoucí oddělení Social Policies Eurofoundu (Evropské nadace pro zlepšování životních a pracovních podmínek), kde začal působit v roce 2009 jako vedoucí výzkumu. Vystudoval aplikovanou statistiku na univerzitě ve Florencii a působil jako hostující profesor na univerzitách v Sydney a Aalborgu.
Kateřina Haring
Česká podnikatelka, manažerka, prezidentka Českomoravské asociace podnikatelek a manažerek a majitelka společnosti Dynamic Group. Viceprezidentka pro Evropu v rámci mezinárodní organizace Femmes Chefs D’Entreprises Mondiales (FCEM). Od roku 2018 je ambasadorkou České republiky projektu Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED). V roce 2020 ji časopis Forbes zařadil do žebříčku 135 nejvlivnějších českých žen na 109. místo.

The Impact of the Pandemic on the Gender Equality
Although the pandemic caused damage to global society, some categories were affected more than others. Women in particular have been exposed to pressure from several quarters, be it economic, family- or health-related pressure. The pandemic has also increased gender inequality, undermining the progress made on this issue in recent years.
The following personalities will address this topic more profoundly in their joint online discussion: Kateřina Haring, President of the Czech-Moravian Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Managers, CMAPM); Sandra Laugier, philosopher and professor at the Pantheon-Sorbonne University in Paris; Massimiliano Mascherini, Head of Unit ad interim for Social Policies of Eurofound (European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions). The debate will be moderated by Alžběta Králová, founder and director of the Prague based Women's Business Academy. The event is part of the Ideas Yard project under the auspices of the EUNIC Prague-based cluster and funded by EUNIC Global funds. It is organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague in cooperation with the French Institute and the Czech Centres, Prague.

She gained experience abroad, especially in the United States. In 2017, she was part of Emmanuel Macron's election team in the presidential election. She is also a Founder and Director of Women’s business academy.

Sandra Laugier is a French philosopher, working on moral philosophy, political philosophy, philosophy of language, gender studies, and popular culture. She is currently a full professor of philosophy at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France, She is also a columnist at the French journal Libération.
Massimiliano Mascherini
Massimiliano Mascherini Is head of the social policies unit at Eurofound, having joined the organisation in 2009 as a research manager. He has a PhD in applied statistics from the University of Florence and has been a visiting fellow at the University of Sydney and Aalborg University.
Katerina Haring
Czech businesswoman, manager, president of the Czech-Moravian association of entrepreneurs and female managers and CEO of Dynamic Group. Vice President for Europe of the international organization Femmes Chefs D’Entreprises Mondiales (FCEM). Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) project. In 2020, Forbes magazine ranked her 109th in the list of 135 most influential Czech women.
